 Hello everyone

Now i know Festy and i have been selected for WEG but a big thank you and congratulations must go to all my wonderful sponsors and supporters.. 

Raise your glasses... a toast..."To all my supporters and sponsors, THANK YOU as without all of you supporting me like you do i wouldn’t be able to do what i do like i do it!!!!!! (that’s just a bit of excited Meganese for you)
 
So i go the call late Tuesday night from chairman of selectors Seamus Marwood telling me i had made it onto the Australian WEG team of 6. After the vet check at the Worlds the 6 will be divided into 4 riding as the Australian Team and 2 as individuals.  So i’m hoping my form in camp will see me in the Team of 4.
 
We were at the Sydney CCI*** event last week as it was our final selection “trial/fitness test”. I rode Floyd in the actual CCI*** class where he was very good and placed 3rd . Festy just did the special WEG class he was very good and felt super super fit, in fact he was kind of Feisty Festy!!!
 
Kate and i are now staying up at SIEC until camp starts next Wednesday and we fly out on September 13th.
It is very nice up here warm and sunny and even when it rains it is still humid and warm so much nicer than sideways hail and single digit temperatures we are having at home at the moment so i’m told. A big thank you to Nicole, Ally and Mummy for looking after the fort while Kate and i are up here preparing.
 
I will keep you all up to date if anything exciting happens.

Hi Everyone,

I am participating in this years City to Bay fun run (12km run). This will be quite a feat for me, as I'm not a seasoned runner though I did manage to survive the 6km run last year! 

As I did last year, I'm again raising funds for the Breast Cancer Network Australia. As our family know first hand, this organisation provides fantastic support to sufferers of breast cancer and are worthy of every donation.
